I enjoyed so much looking at sceneries during this road trip. Seluas mata memandang. It's wonderful! But the downside of travelling in winter, the sunset is by 6 pm, and by then, everything was dark already.
We reached BIG4 Batemans Bays (caravan park) at night. After we parked our ride in the rented space, the ladies started preparing dinner and looking out for the kids as usual, while the gentlemen took care of laundry and the rest. In most caravan park, they have this laundry room completed with washing machines and dryers. All self-service.
The next morning, we rise and shine to see beautiful beach before us! The weather was nice and breezy and the sky was so blue, I just don't want to leave! We just had a little time to take a look around the caravan park and the beach, before we start moving. Our plan for that day was to get some Australian marsupials encounter. Can't wait!
The driver and his co-pilot of the day. All ready to hit the road.
All set!
So we drove heading south, in hope to find an animal sanctuary. Luckily, we found Potoroo Palace! I was beyond excited to meet the most popular animal in Australia. Jakun-moment is about to happen.
What have we here?
We have Dingo! But where's the kangaroo?
Here it is! Lots of them! Freely roaming and hopping around the place! I am one happy human being!
And one of them was extra friendly!
Done with jakun-moment of petting and smooching around with those super adorable kangaroos, we're getting hungry (we're always starving though). So we stopped at Eden, a small town in the South Coast region of NSW. We found a spot to park our huge camper van, and decided to walk around to find food. Specifically, fish and chips.
Astonished by the peaceful look of this small town of Eden. People of the town are friendly too, just like the kangaroo.
Seafood at your own selection.
Dig in!
Fish and chips just taste better with cili sos.
We continued our journey entering Victoria, and stayed overnight at a caravan park in Lake Entrance town, another beautiful place.
Melbourne, we're getting closer!
