USA: From California to Nevada (US16 - Part 5)

Primm and Las Vegas 2016

After days and nights of thinking and planning and watching The Hangover, we finally managed to squeeze Vegas into our itinerary. We're going to Vegas, baybeh!

From Anaheim, we went back to LA to pick up our rental car at National. And we're all ready for our road trip to Nevada.

That's our cool left-hand drive, Jeep Renegade.

USA: Disney California Adventure! (US16 - Part 4)

Los Angeles 2016

Disney California Adventure (DCA) is another Disney park located just next to Disneyland in California and it features more thrill and awesome rides. A visit to DCA also means that you'll be visiting Cars Land (a land based on Disney movie, Cars). It's the best theme land I've ever seen in my entire life.

USA: Disneyland! (US16 - Part 3)

Los Angeles 2016
Hello Disneyland! We meet again!

It was in 2009, when I got to be there for the first time. It's a super fun experience that I'll never forget (it wouldn't be called the happiest place on earth for nothing). Disneyland is in fact, the best theme park I've ever been in my entire life (but it's gonna be the second best after this).

7 years later, here we were again, standing among huge crowd of people in Main Street USA, waiting patiently for a rope drop. We were excited and nervous all at the same time. We came here with a bucket list loaded with Disneyland attractions we must do before we die.

Right after the rope drop, everyone ran like mad all over the place just like we imagined it to be. Most of the crowd in Tomorrowland ran towards the end of the land to find Hyperspace Mountain, the most popular ride in Disneyland (waiting time for this ride is insane). Being among the first few (hundreds?) was good enough for us as we only waited for like 15 minutes to get on board (they had the most efficient loading system). And before you know it, we were already on a faster-than-light journey into a galaxy far far away! Space Mountain has always be my favorite Disney ride, and this Star Wars overlaid thing just make it even more awesome!

Crossing out Hyperspace Mountain from the list early that day was a big success for us. And there are many many more to go...

USA: Downtown Disney (US16 - Part 2)

Los Angeles 2016

You'll never be too old for Disney. And it's never wrong to repeat Disneyland for a second time. This trip was all about perfecting my previous visit to this happiest place on earth!

Started the day with a hearty breakfast at a diner in Torrance, you know, the American way, sans bacon... Then a quick visit to NYX store for some soft matte lip cream frenzy! Then off to Anaheim we go!

All sunny Torrance.

Brekkie.

USA: The Ultimate Journey to the United States of America, the FreeTransit Seoul City Tour (US16 - Part 1)

Seoul &  Los Angeles 2016

Going to the US for the second time couldn't excite me more. I've planned this for months! I was so prepared for this so-called ultimate vacation of my life.

The journey to the US is a very special one, as this was the first time for me flying alone. And knowing the fact that it would be a journey halfway around the globe, it makes me feel adventurous already.

From Kuala Lumpur to Incheon, Korea.

I took this photo with an intention to post it in Instagram just like many hipster travellers do. It just didn't make it though, and I blame my unphotogenic hand. But I'm putting it here anyway.

Los Angeles: Santa Monica (LA09 Part 6)

Okay this is the last one! I almost forgot that I haven't finish up the LA update yet. And as it's a very long due update aku pon macam dah kehabisan idea. So macam biasa, layan gamba je la.

Yeay we can see the beach!

Los Angeles: Camarillo Premium Outlets & Griffith Observatory (LA09 Part 5)

We rented a car to go for shopping. The place is quite far from Hollywood so the most convenient way is to drive. We were going to Camarillo Premium Outlets! (thanks to Yus for the info!).

Iwan has booked the car earlier online and actually he requested for a small car. But luckily, small cars were all not available so the car rental company gave us a big car instead.

Aku mula2 mcm tak percaya je Iwan sewa kete buruk ni. Rupe2nye dia pon tak sangka! Hahaha! It's a Chevy HHR (and HHR stands for Heritage High Roof). What a name!

Los Angeles: Universal Studio - Day 2 (LA09 Part 4)

We had conquered all rides in Universal Studio on day 1, except for the House of Horror. So Iwan and my sister went for a round of scary-walk inside the house while I just waited outside and enjoyed the free smell of burgers and fries from the stall nearby. After they had being scared by Chucky and Frakenstein, we went on The Simpsons Ride and omg, they're awesome!! I would say it as a fun+hillarious+scary ride. I was like screaming and laughing at the same time!

Itchy and Scratchy height check.

Los Angeles: Universal Studio - Day 1 (LA09 Part 3)

Other than Disneyland, I really really want to go to Universal Studio! So yes, it's another dream come true. We bought the ticket online and we got another day pass for free! Oh yeah!

Universal Studio is located not far from our hotel. So we just took a Metro train to Universal City and from there, we took free shuttle service to Universal Studio. Sangat senang.

Shuttle service.

Dah sampai!

Los Angeles: Disneyland (LA09 Part 2)

The Disneyland Park is located at Anaheim, California. Agak jauh sket from where we were staying. We have to take a Metro bus to Disneyland which took roughly about 1 hour journey.

There are two theme parks - Disneyland Park and Disneyland California Adventure Park. And because that I can't go on that Tower of Terror, and we knew that it is impossible to complete two parks in just one day, so we went to Disneyland Park je. Itu pon dah nak tercabut kapala lutut kitorang berjalan tau!

Di dalam bas menuju ke Disneyland. Masih bertenaga.

Yey dah sampai Disneyland! Punya lah ramai orang! Padahal hari Isnin nih. Derang ni tak keje ke??

Los Angeles: Hollywood (LA09 Part 1)

My sister asked us to accompany her to LA. She knows that we would be the perfect candidate to be her travel guide. Yes we are! We (mostly Iwan lah) planned everything! Universal Studio, Disneyland, Six Flags Magic Mountain, you name it. You guys should already know how much we love roller coasters! But soon after we decided to go to LA, we received another surprising good news - I'm pregnant! And because of this, we all have to re-plan everything again. Sorry to Iwan, Six Flags has to go because his little baby won't be able to tolerate with extreme amount of G force, I guess.. :p So yeah, it will not be an "extreme" adventure for both of us this time. I was quite upset with this restriction, tapi nak buat macam mana dah our little one nak ikut jugak kitorang gi jalan2! Haish!!

Ok now, enjoy the pics!
