USA: Downtown Disney (US16 - Part 2)

Los Angeles 2016

You'll never be too old for Disney. And it's never wrong to repeat Disneyland for a second time. This trip was all about perfecting my previous visit to this happiest place on earth!

Started the day with a hearty breakfast at a diner in Torrance, you know, the American way, sans bacon... Then a quick visit to NYX store for some soft matte lip cream frenzy! Then off to Anaheim we go!

All sunny Torrance.

Brekkie.

I went crazy for 15 minutes.

We checked-in to Quality Inn Anaheim which is located 15 minutes-walk away from Disneyland (how convenient!). You should know how important it is to stay nearby, as for me visiting Disneyland is like you are entering a treasure hunt contest, where every single minutes counts.

This is the room number, in case you miss it.
Trust me, after a long day in Disneyland, your whole body especially your sorry feet will be begging for this.

We had our Fillet-O-Fish lunch at a Mcd nearby before we head off to Downtown Disney (which is located in the Disney Resort itself). Another perk of staying close to the park, you got more time to explore the resort and get into the mood. Downtown Disney is not a park. Basically, it's an outdoor shopping center with F&B outlets, shops and live music. Very happening. And here also lies the World of Disney store, a place where you have to hold yourself from overspending your money on cute irrelevant stuff.

This small packet of miracle can turn a bland fillet-o-fish into the best fillet-o-fish ever in America.
Hey Disneyland, just you wait!
And you too, Disney California Adventure!
We were the only people in here wearing sandals.
Welcome to Downtown Disney!
"Arrrrrrsene Wengeerrrrrrr.............."
In World of Disney store. Kedai ni besar gila!
But I ain't got no pin.
They also have a huge Lego store here...
...and other random stuff.

Thanks to a random stranger for this amazing shot.
Unleashing the kid in me.
Before we called it a day.

We were saving our energy for big day tomorrow. Went back to the hotel and had our special Malaysian-style dinner, specially cooked by moi. Yes, I am that typical Malaysian who instantly crave for nasik when on vacation. Everything was prepared using microwave and my magic hands. They all turned out to be the best meal of the trip we ever had so far.

You have no idea how DELICIOUS it was! I almost cried.
Later that night, we saw Disneyland fireworks from our hotel room.

Stay tuned for my next update on Disneyland trip... Till then...
