7 years later, here we were again, standing among huge crowd of people in
Main Street USA, waiting patiently for a
rope drop. We were excited and nervous all at the same time. We came here with a bucket list loaded with Disneyland attractions we must do before we die.
Right after the rope drop, everyone ran like mad all over the place just like we imagined it to be. Most of the crowd in Tomorrowland ran towards the end of the land to find Hyperspace Mountain, the most popular ride in Disneyland (waiting time for this ride is insane). Being among the first few (hundreds?) was good enough for us as we only waited for like 15 minutes to get on board (they had the most efficient loading system). And before you know it, we were already on a faster-than-light journey into a galaxy far far away! Space Mountain has always be my favorite Disney ride, and this Star Wars overlaid thing just make it even more awesome!
Crossing out Hyperspace Mountain from the list early that day was a big success for us. And there are many many more to go...

| First attraction of the day! Yippie! |
 |
| The old name is still here. |
 |
| Ready for some adrenaline boost. |

| People on the back row was so out of space. |
Here goes the list of all the rides that we went on (in no particular order).
1. Hyperspace Mountain - an indoor roller coaster with Star Wars theme overlay to the existing Space Mountain.
2. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster - a ride where you get into an epic space battle of fire-laser shooting fight to defeat Zurg.

3. Star Wars Launch Bay - a Star Wars exhibition and also a place to meet Kylo Ren! We were so starstruck that we forgot to pass the cast member our camera!
 |
| Cue music. |
 |
| Captain Brienne of Tarth's. |

 |
| Mind tricks don't work on him. |
4. Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage - a submarine journey under the sea.

| That's a real cat that no one even notice. |
 |
| The Big Thunder Mountain doesn't seem so big here. |
6. Peter Pan's Flight - a journey on a flying enchanted pirate ship to Never Land! Looking at how long the line was, I bet this is the most popular one in Fantasyland.
7. Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough - how it looks inside featuring some scenes from the Disney classic, the Sleeping Beauty.

8. Indiana Jones Adventure - a thrill ride on a rugged troop car in a mission to find Indiana Jones. Another favs!
9. Haunted Mansion - a musical tour in a haunted mansion.
Hong Kong Disneyland's Mystic Manor is believed to be inspired from this attraction.

10. Splash Mountain - log flume ride with a big splash. Me likey anything splashy!
12. Star Tours - 3D motion ride to hyperspace.
13. Gadget's Go Coaster - a fun and colorful kids-friendly roller coaster.
Does 13 attractions in a day seems a lot to you? Well, you had no idea. We skipped all shows and character meeting (except for Kylo Ren). We didn't repeat attractions we did in 2009.
And I don't know how we did this but we walked 31k steps that day. We simply didn't rest. But all these 13 attractions wouldn't be possible without the art of using FastPass.
I've once blogged about FastPass (FP) and how it's used in this
post. It's basically a brilliant virtual-queueing system by Disney. First, you have to look for FP distribution service machine (usually near the attraction's entrance), and see if the return time works for you. If it does, insert your Disneyland admission ticket into the machine and it will generate an FP ticket with a return time for you. Now all you have to do is to go enjoy other shorter waiting time attraction and only come back at your return time. When you return, you'll just have to go through the FP lane which is faster than the normal lane. And do you know that we can have multiple FP at a time? I totally sound like a Disney nerd right now.
Moving on.. During lunchtime, we went out of Disneyland for a quick bite at Earl of Sandwich located in Downtown Disney. It's quite a walking distance but Earl of Sandwich offers a more economical option. We had tuna melts (oh so good!), tuna wrap, mac and cheese (we're starving!) and a refillable large coke before we got ourselves back to Disneyland.
By end of the day, our feet hurt so bad due to a great deal of walking around the park from one attraction to another, back and forth for countless of times (the price we had to pay for using FastPass so
efficiently). Later that night we watched a spectacular electrical parade, Paint The Night, and it was amazing!
