Sydney-Melbourne Road Trip: City Tour & Luna Park (AU13 Part 6)

Melbourne, Australia 2013

This is going to be the last post of my Sydney-Melbourne road trip. On this day, we had a free and easy city tour around Melbourne by city shuttle bus (it's free!). Melbourne is a modern city, and we could find almost anything here. Enjoy the pics!

Federation Square.
Free city shuttle.
Hosier Lane and its urban art.
Souvenir hopping, I mean shopping.
They have variety options of McFlurry. This one is caramel. Although it was freezing, I still had to try.
City tram spotted.
Bikes for rent.

City tour could be a lot more fun if only the weather wasn't so cold. I was freezing most of the time when staying outside. Even after a week in Australia, my body still couldn't fully tolerate with the weather. But overall, it was still an amazing experience, nevertheless.

Next stop was Luna Park. This is the first Luna Park in Australia (there are few of them), operating since 1912 (woah, so old!). Here also stands the oldest continually-operating roller coaster in the world! It is so old school that its manual braking system requires a brakeman in the middle of the train.

Luna Park iconic entrance.

Flying dumbo ride.

Hana and the snowman.

Had a break with M&M cookies, bought from Coles.

Kids friendly roller coaster.

Carousel ride.

$1 for every try.

Going back to the apartment after a long day.

The next morning, we woke up to reality that our vacation had finally come to its end. Our flight was in the afternoon, so we got enough time for some photo shoots and last minutes souvenir shopping.

Saying goodbye to the St. Kilda apartment.

Love this shot.

But this one is even better. ;p

Maple leaves on the ground

Melbourne airport. I don't wanna leave!

But I so crave for nasi lemak, So yeah, KL wait for me!
