Sydney, Australia - 2013.
Touched down Sydney. Sejuknya! Excited nya tiada calang-calang lagi apabila kulit diliputi udara sejuk. It's winter bebeh! And Malaysian loves winter (kan?). First thing first, get a data plan. Bought a few Yes Optus prepaid sim cards with data plan at a very reasonable price and we got a superb 4G connection. Update lah Instagram sepuas-puasnya di mana jua anda berada. Next, collected our rental mpv, an 8-seater Kia Grand Carnival which is spacious. Then we had a quick fillet-o-fish dinner at the airport Mcd, before we finally off to
Adina Sydney Central apartment (nearby Central station) for check-in. The 2-bedroom apartment is furnished with flat screen tv, stove, kitchen utensils for cooking, clean dishes, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. All complete.

Not done yet, we grabbed our winter jacket and went out from the apartment to find some groceries for our survival. As the apartment is located in CBD, convenient store is very easy to find. It's all over the place. Quickly grabbed the usual stuff like laundry detergent and dish washing soap. We also bought eggs, milk, bread, nescafe and some cereals for breakfast the next day. When you're in foreign country, even a visit to a convenient store can be a jakun-moment to you. Just go along with it..

The next day, after we had a hearty breakfast at the apartment, we're ready for some Sydney hop-on hop-off tour. First stop was Circular Quay. We headed straight to the Sydney Opera House. Along the way, we enjoyed sighting the nice view of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House from far. Just beautiful. As we're reaching nearer to it, we then carefully picked a spot for an instagram-worthy photo. And there you go, bucket list is checked. :)

Next stop, Bondi Beach. It's freezing! But to a bunch of surfers dude around the beach, it's nothing. They just continue, you know, chilling. We couldn't even stay long at the beach as the wind was getting stronger and it's getting dark (day time is short during winter).
